Policies and Guidelines
*We recommend arriving five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out intake form and use the
restroom. Arriving late will deprive your precious minutes of your spa treatment so our next client isn’t delayed.
*Keep in mind that we have Male and Female Massage Therapist on staff. If you have a preference please request
so during booking. If no request is given you will be scheduled with whomever is available. Requests may not be
made at time of appointment as your scheduled therapist came in especially for you. If you choose not receive
your service it will be considered as a "Less than 24hour notice" and will result in 50% charge or forfeit of
voucher.
*When booking you will be asked to provide a valid credit card number to hold your reservation. Please note that
no charges will be made to your credit card until your service is completed.
*Treatment times are reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel your appointment please call us at
(562) 916-0127 at least 24 hours in advance. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation any
cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (or no-shows) will result in forfeit of vouchers, prepaid specials or
full charge on your credit card. We regret that we cannot make exceptions to our 24-hour cancellation policy
because we are a small appointment-based business and we often schedule therapists especially for you.
*We realize that sometimes a sudden illness can prevent you from giving 24 hours cancellation notice. In this
instance your credit card/gift card will be charged only 50% of your total service. However vouchers purchased
through Groupon, LivingSocial, or Amazon Local will be redeemed at 100%. This money is used
to compensate your therapist for their time.

* All late guest will be charged for their full treatment time and will only receive remaining amount of time.
*Gift Cards are the same as cash and can be used for any spa service or product provided at Urban Day Spa.
Gift certificates and prepaid services are non-refundable.
* Gratuities in appreciation to the staff for outstanding service may be given at your discretion
